    Diane Ford

As a school teacher for over 25 years, Diane explored acupuncture hoping to help children with ADHD. She has been a practicing acupuncturist since graduating from the Tai Hsuan School of Acupuncture in Hawaii in 2000. She holds master's degrees in Traditional Chinese Medicine (which includes Acupuncture, Herbs, and Qi Gong), and Educational Psychology. Her company, Acupuncture Center, LLC, has offices in Brunswick and Lewiston.

Acupuncture was first thought of in America as a treatment for pain, and is very effective in that area, but does much more. When your body is out of balance due to age, trauma, medications, diet, heredity, etc., pain and sickness can appear. Acupuncture is designed to restore that balance. It also is very good for pre and post surgical procedures, stress, shingles, back pain, menopausal symptoms, detoxification from drugs and alcohol, arthritis, headaches, fertility issues, side effects from cancer treatment, and other ailments.

  • Abby Holland

Abby graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology with a B.S. in Hospitality in 2011. She then went on to study massage, graduating from Big Island Academy of Massage in Hawaii in 2017 and Acadia School of Massage in 2020. She specializes in Swedish, Lomi Lomi, myofascial release, and sports massage.

I've always had an interest in both helping people and hands-on work, and have found massage therapy to be an excellent way to combine the two. Helping people deal with any stress, anxiety, or physical pain they might be experiencing enables them to heal their mind, body, and spirit. I like to think that having healthy, balanced individuals leads to having a healthy, balanced community, which benefits everyone.
